£1100 cash or bank transfer only. No trades. Based in North Manchester. Cabinet has sold. For sale is a mint condition Mesa Roadster head, comes with covers, footswitch, manual and flight case. The flight case is fully functioning but has general marks to corners from use. The amp itself has mostly been used for studio/recording only and is fully functioning. I'm biased but I prefer the look of this to the treadplate Rectifiers - it looks a lot smarter to me! My band used it in a video shoot which can be seen in the youtube link attached. The Roadster is one of the most feature packed Rectifier revisions: - It has 2 clean channels with modes taken from the Lone Star, as well as the Lone Star reverb. The Tweed mode on channel 1 is particularly spectacular for Fender mid gain sounds. - The reverb level can be set individually for each channel - It has the 2 classic Rectifier high gain channels orange/red with raw/vintage/modern modes - Series FX loop which can be switched off completely (as opposed to parallel on earlier models) - 100 or 50 watt modes selectable per channel - Tube or diode rectification per channel - It is currently fitted with 4x 6L6 output valves but the amp can also take EL34s should you prefer to fit those. - Has a variac switch for bold (more headroom) or spongy (a softer feel with slightly less output) I'd recommend reading the Mesa page on this amp to get more of an idea of what it can do! It covers a lot more ground than just high gain.
